Qualification as Emergency call centre specialist

An important component of an emergency call centre is the alarm service.

This is a security service that consists of evaluating hazard alarms and initiating, monitoring and documenting contractually agreed security measures to restore the security of the protected object as quickly as possible.

Employees in a VdS-approved emergency call centre in accordance with VdS 3138 must have sufficient qualifications in accordance with VdS 2237 to be able to carry out the activities within the scope of the alarm and intervention service.

The qualification requirements for the personnel employed in the field of the alarm and intervention service are regulated in the VdS 2237 guidelines.
