Access to the approval procedure is open to individuals who
- qualify as qualified electricians in accordance with the requirements of VDE 1000-10,
- can prove that they have at least 3 years' professional experience as a qualified electrician,
- are involved in the planning, installation and/or testing of photovoltaic systems as their main occupation or for the most part in their professional activities, and
- have successfully completed a corresponding additional qualification (attendance of the qualification course) in accordance with the requirements of VdS 3174 (examination at the end of the above-mentioned course).
