Information for gun owners

Rely on a VdS-approved safe deposit box for the storage of your weapons

On 30 June 2017 the new Arms Act came into force throughout Germany. One of the declared aims of the German Parliament was that fewer firearms should disappear. Comprehensive changes therefore concern § 36 WaffG, "Storage of weapons or ammunition".

VdS-approved secure storage units fully comply with these legal requirements. VdS is Germany's only DAkkS-accredited testing and certification body for secure storage units and certifies in accordance with VdS 2450/EN 1143-1.
