There is a great demand in the market for the assessment of fire extinguishing systems that have been installed on the basis of FM Global guidelines. As one of the world's largest commercial property insurers, FM Global has issued numerous guidelines for fire extinguishing systems that are in use worldwide. 

VdS is also able to test these systems. The basis for this is our accreditation in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17020, which not only stands for compliance with the highest quality standards, but also enables the greatest possible flexibility. This is why we are your competent all-rounder for practically all fire protection systems when it comes to on-site fire protection testing.

In order to keep our knowledge of FM regulations up to date, we have also set up a working group at VdS to share our experience in applying FM guidelines. This group is also in constant contact with FM representatives, which enables us to better understand and implement the FM guidelines.
