VdS: First Prove Certificate for fire protection technology

Cologne/Germany, April 3rd 2023. VdS supports its partners in addition to the renowned Approval, Europe's most important quality seal for safety technology listed by authorities all over the world, also with numerous other offers – including the young brand "Prove" for certifications according to other international standards. The first Prove certificate for fire protection technology has now been awarded to D+H Mechatronic AG for an electrical control device in accordance with the global standard ISO 21927-9.
Gunnar Bellingen, head of the VdS fire protection laboratories, emphasizes: "We congratulate the D+H team on the world's first 'Prove – powered by VdS' certification in the field of fire protection, in this case to the equally high level of ISO. The well-known personal as well as technical reputation of the German VdS laboratories is an important additional purchasing argument for safety decision-makers all over the world, also for external standards."
Maik Schmees, Chief Technical Officer of D+H Mechatronic AG, explains: "The fact that the ISO certification was carried out under the usual highest VdS quality standards ensures that our CPL-B control device is held in high regard by all relevant stakeholders, especially in international sales.
