Including real-time overview of completed tests: The VdS customer web portal, which is now live, offers manufacturers a precise control tool for all certification processes.

Cologne/Germany, September 2nd 2025. With the new VdS customer web portal, manufacturers of fire protection technology now benefit from a central control tool for their certifications. The digital tool provides a compact overview of all processes and also shows the test progress in real time. Aim: providing VdS customers with greater planning reliability throughout the entire Approval process.

“As a logical extension of our service philosophy, the new portal offers our partners maximum transparency and, even more important, an effective control instrument,” emphasises Ulrich Rabe, Deputy Head of VdS Fire Protection Laboratories and developer of the tool. “Particularly well received by VdS customers worldwide is the automatic display of each completed test milestone.”

The fully digitalised process (also for CPR certifications) furthermore meets important sustainability and environmental protection requirements. VdS customers will be invited to the new portal via email. This feedback from a globally active partner shows just how highly appreciated the added value is: ‘A+ with a gold star.’
