With its involvement in EUROFEU, the European Committee of the Manufacturers of Fire Protection Equipment and Fire Fighting Vehicles, VdS Schadenverhütung GmbH is underlining its commitment to the highest standards of fire protection in Europe and worldwide.

Cologne, 29. July 2025. VdS has been a new member of EUROFEU since July 2025 and has joined the sections Fire Fighting Agents (FFA), Portable Fire Extinguishers (PFE), Fixed Firefighting Systems (FFS) and Sprinklers (EES). The umbrella organization of the European national associations for active technical fire protection, fire protection systems, and firefighting vehicles develops statements and positions on relevant industry topics in various sections. In this way, the professional association represents the interests of the fire protection and firefighting industry in Europe.

Strong partnership for European fire protection
