Die Zertifizierungsstelle von VdS Schadenverhütung (nachstehend VdS-Zertifizierungsstelle genannt) erkennt bei entsprechender Beauftragung Sachverständige für Photovoltaikanlagen (PV-Sachverständige) an. 

Das Anerkennungsverfahren dient dazu, die Qualifikation des Auftraggebers zu überprüfen. Hat dieser nachgewiesen, dass er über eine ausreichende Kompetenz verfügt, erhält er hierüber ein persönliches Zertifikat. Er ist damit berechtigt, die Bezeichnung „VdS-anerkannter Sachverständiger für Photovoltaikanlagen (PV-Sachverständiger)“ zu führen.

The VdS Schadenverhütung certification body (hereinafter referred to as the VdS certification body) approves experts in photovoltaic systems (PV experts) upon receiving a corresponding application.

The approval procedure serves to verify the client’s qualifications. Once the client has demonstrated that they possess sufficient expertise, they are issued with a personal certificate. They are thereby entitled to use the title ‘VdS-approved expert in photovoltaic systems (PV expert)’.
