The high pressure water mist system may only be used to protect the following risks/areas according to VdS 3188 annex K.2.2:

Protection of machinery spaces with a maximum volume of the protected area of
4.4 m³ with high pressure water mist nozzle 'DK4-12-O'.

Parameters:
-maximum permissible volume of the protected area: 4.4 m³.
-maximum permissible nozzle distance: 2.0 m
-maximum permissible wall distance: 0.75 m

The planning and installation instructions of the manufacturer (see enclosure 2) have to be observed.
