The water mist sprinkler '4S 1MC 8MB 1000' may only be used to protect the following applications in accordance with VdS 3188 Annex K.2.3 and K.2.4:
Adjacent areas of painting booths such as dryers, preparation, evaporation or displacement areas in which no painting procedures take place.
Parameter Water mist nozzle (preparation):
-maximum permissible ceiling height: 5.0 m
-maximum permissible volume of protection area: 1375 m³
Storage of flammable liquids or other flammable materials in the protected areas is not permitted.
The protection of paint booths is not permitted.
Storage and processing areas for flammable liquids, parameter water mist nozzle:
-maximum permissible ceiling height: 5.0 m
-maximum permissible volume of the protection area: 1000 m³
Limitations and restrictions:
-Storage of liquids with a flash point greater or equal -4 ° C (reference heptane) or less dangerous liquids with regard to flammability and ignitability (for exceptions refer to the P & E manual)
-Storage of metal containers with a maximum size of 1000 liters
-Storage only in non-combustible shelves with water-permeable false floors on non-combustible pallets
-For storage quantities greater or equal 2000 liters per room, a manually activatable foam proportioning system must be provided
The annex 3 of the approval and the system-specific manual for planning and installation of the manufacturer must be observed.
