With free standing storage or block storage (ST1) for stored goods of the fire hazard classes HHS1 to HHS4 an increase of the necessary water coverage up to a distance of = 9,3m between admissible storage height and ceiling or roof, at a ceiling height of up to 13.7 m is not necessary. In this case the use of antifreeze agent on propylene glycole basis is not admissible.
With free-standing storage or block storage (ST1) for single or double-walled storage containers made of unfoamed synthetics (KLT) or stored synthetics made of PP, PE, PS and plastics with similar fire behavior up to 4.60m height top edge stored goods and a minimum water coverage of 30mm/min, the maximum admissible ceiling height is 13.7m. The use of foaming agents is not necessary. In this case the use of antifreeze agent on propylene glycole basis is not admissible.
