The MSK12 nozzle may be used only to protect the following areas of a continuous press of the wood-based panel industry:

  • Press midsection

    provided that in these areas:
  • wood chips, wood fibers or less dangerous substances with regard to their flammability and their fire behavior do occur and
  • flammable liquids with a flash point> = + 55 ° C are used.
    It has to be installed as many nozzles as necessary to ensure that the entire shelter (including cavities) is charged with water.
    Uncontrolled spread of fire (for example by spray fire) should be avoided by:
  • immediate interruption of the supply of inputs, lubricants, thermal oils, etc.
  • shutdown of the suction devices, ventilators, fans and heaters.

    Storage in the areas listed above or immediately adjacent areas without structural separation is not permitted.

    The installation, operating and maintenance instructions (see enclosure 2) must be observed.
