The low pressure water mist system 'Minifog DryerProtect' may only be used to protect belt dryers, plate belt dryers, push-turn dryers for combustible materials and veneer dryers. Among others the following restrictions apply:

  • the transport speed is max. 1 m/s
  • depending on the material to be dried, the drying temperature is max. 220 °C.

    The scope of protection for belt dryers, apron dryers and pusher dryers covers the following areas:
  • the loading area
  • the drying area with the conveyor belt/product and turning device(s)
  • the discharge area
  • the exhaust air ducts

    The scope of protection for veneer dryers includes the following areas:
  • inlet and outlet rack
  • drying chamber
  • exhaust and cooling air ducts

    Systems or areas connected to the dryer for heat generation and heat transfer as well as hydraulic units and circuits for dryer control are not part of this system.

    The manufacturer's planning and installation instructions (system manual - see annex 2) must be observed.
