The fine spray fire extinguishing system 'ProCon' may be used only for the protection of machines where
- combustible liquids with a flash point greater or equal +55°C
- substances less hazardous as to their combustibility and fire
behaviour
do appear.
Fields of application of the system are, among others: - gas and steam turbines
- coating units
- generators
- emergency units
- hydraulic units
It has to be avoided an uncontrolled fire spread (e.g. spray fire) by following measures: - immediate interruption of the supply of means of production, lubricants, heat transfer oil
etc. - deactivation of exhaust equipment, fans, ventilators and heaters or other relevant units.
The system manual of the manufacturer (see enclosure 2) has to be observed.
