Diese Richtlinien legen Anforderungen und Prüfmethoden für Druckregeleinrichtungen zur Verwendung in Inertgas-Feuerlöschanlagen gemäß VdS 2380 fest.

Diese Richtlinien sind anwendbar für Druckregeleinrichtungen,

• die im Löschmittelstrom außerhalb des Behälterventils (Behälterventile mit integrierter Druckregelung siehe VdS 3827) zwischen Behälterventil und dem Sammelrohr angeordnet werde
• ohne Steuerung oder mit externer Steuerung über einen pneumatischen Steuereingang
• die einer maximalen Behältergröße zugeordnet werden und
• bei denen der maximale Sekundärdruck bei offenem Rohrnetz nicht größer ist als der maximale Sekundärdruck bei geschlossenem Rohrnetz

Anmerkung: Diese Richtlinien enthalten keine Anforderungen und Prüfmethoden für die Bauteile der externen Steuerung. Sind diese vorhanden, werden Anforderungen und Prüf-methoden mit dem Auftraggeber vereinbart.

Diese Richtlinien sind anwendbar mit und ohne Bezug zu einem bestimmten anerkannten Behälterventil.

VdS Guidelines for Pressure Regulating Device in the Extinguishant Flow

These guidelines specify requirements and test methods for pressure regulating devices for use in inert gas fire extinguishing systems in accordance with VdS 2380.

These guidelines are applicable to pressure regulating equipment,

• which are arranged in the extinguishant flow outside the container valve (container valves with integrated pressure control see VdS 3827) between the container valve and the manifold
• without control or with external control via a pneumatic control input
• that are assigned to a maximum container size and
• where the maximum secondary pressure with the pipework open is not greater than the maximum secondary pressure with the pipework closed

Note: These guidelines do not contain any requirements and test methods for the components of the external control system. If these are available, requirements and test methods are agreed with the client.

These guidelines are applicable with and without reference to a specific approved container valve.
