2nd lockdown: No postponements in VdS laboratories

Same as in the 1st lockdown for Germany, all processes in our testing laboratories and in the certification body continue running regularly, backed by strict hygiene measures. We do not expect any delays in the product Approval / certification for you.

In case it would in the future not be possible to continue all operations regularly and in their entirety, for example due to a spread of the virus among VdS employees or due to changes in the regulatory framework, we will directly inform you.

Since the beginning of the pandemic and also at the request of many of our customers, meetings etc. have been managed via remote technology. This also applies to the discussion of new projects, which we are happy to conduct as a web conference. We are also still enabling „real“ appointments in the laboratories, secured by the VdS hygiene concept which has already proven its worth in the first lockdown.

Test samples can be sent to us as usual by delivery service.

Continued availability is also ensured: You can – as always – reach us by phone and/or via customer interface.
